This is an action brought by the appellee Gladys L. Reed against appellant to recover damages for personal injuries allegedly sustained as a result of a fall on a public sidewalk in the City of South Bend.

Trial was had by a jury, which returned a verdict for the appellee in the sum of $10,000. Judgment was entered accordingly.

The appellant filed a motion for new trial, which was overruled.
