By its second amended complaint plaintiff (appellant), Rockford Equipment Company, alleges that on or about December 19, 1961, defendants Russell and Verda Rodgers executed two promissory notes in the total sum of $7,697.24, the same later being secured by a crop and chattel mortgage which was regularly filed on the 3rd of January, 1962.
