The suit was brought by Richard Trosclair, Myrna Trosclair, Ronald Brady and Rita Brady for injuries sustained as a result of an automobile collision. The defendants were Dale Higgins, Anna Mae Higgins, Gerry Daul and Michael B. Daul, Jr., and their alleged insurers The United States Fire Insurance Company and Fireman's Fund Insurance Company.
