All of them, however, present three questions for determination: (1) whether there is any competent evidence to support the findings of fact of the hearing commissioner that the decedent employee, Alex Cobb, was not the father of either Michael (Bazemore) Cobb or Zina Cobb; (2) whether the proper provision of N.C.G.S. § 97-2(5) was applied in determining the average weekly wage of the decedent employee...
