Plaintiff telephone company sued defendants, the owners of a certain tractor-trailer truck, and its driver, seeking damages for injury done to telephone company equipment, cable, wire and similar items, and the cost of replacing that equipment after it had been knocked down and damaged by defendants' vehicle.
