Defendant, Bobby L. Boyd, was tried before a justice of the peace in the Borough of Middletown, Dauphin County, and was found guilty of reckless driving under section 1001 (1) of The Vehicle Code of April 29, 1959, P. L. 58, 75 PS §1001(1), which provides:

"Reckless driving is unlawful, and for the purpose of this act, is construed to include the following:

"(1) Any person who drives any vehicle or streetcar or trackless...
