Appellant Frank S. Townsend was convicted by a judge sitting without a jury of two offenses under the Uniform Firearms Act, Act of June 24, 1939, P.L. 872, § 628, as amended, 18 P.S. § 4628(d) and (e) — possession of a firearm after a conviction of a crime of violence and possession of a firearm without a license.
