This is one of the most unusual murder cases to come before this court. J. H. Maroney, a resident of Bradley County, Arkansas, and familiarly known in the neighborhood as "Junior" Maroney, was slain, at home in his bed, between the hours of 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM on March 30, 1967. His death was caused by a fatal bullet wound in the left side of his head, the bullet having been fired from a small caliber weapon, apparently a .22 rifle. The rifle...
