This consolidated litigation arises out of a collision between the SS CHARLES LYKES and the ST HESS VOYAGER which occurred on the night of March 3, 1966, at approximately 2210 hours in the Upper Reach of Mobile Bay Ship Channel near Buoy No. 42, about one mile south of the mouth of the Mobile River.
