This is a rear-end collision case. Plaintiffs appeal a jury verdict of no cause of action. Plaintiff Irving Tasco, the driver of the automobile in which both plaintiffs were riding, claims he was entitled to a directed verdict. Tasco's passenger, Bernard Humphrey, asserts that the trial judge directed a verdict in his favor, but that the jury failed to follow that instruction.
