This is an action for personal injuries resulting from a rear-end collision between plaintiff's automobile stopped at a street intersection in compliance with a traffic signal and an automobile driven by defendant. Defendant by amended answer admitted that he was negligent in failing to maintain a proper lookout and that such failure was the proximate cause of the accident, but as an affirmative defense alleged that plaintiff was barred from recovery...
