From an adverse decision of the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare denying disability insurance benefits, rendered on January 12, 1968, Alva Long, a resident of Rose Hill, Virginia has appealed to this court. Born October 26, 1913, he is now fifty-four years of age. Possessor of a second grade education, he can sign his name, but is otherwise illiterate.
