PRESLAR, Justice.

This is a condemnation case involving the acquisition by the State for highway purposes of certain property owned by Pecos Gin Company, Inc. in Reeves County, Texas. Prior to the taking, the property consisted of approximately fifteen acres, on which was located a cotton gin, and the State condemned 1.401 acres of such tract.
