Appellant was tried, found guilty of attempting to effect the escape of a prisoner incarcerated in the Hinds County jail and sentenced to serve one year in jail and to pay a fine of $500. This appeal is prosecuted from the judgment of the Circuit Court of the First District of Hinds County.
