George Emerson Hart, after a plea of not guilty, was convicted by a jury on a single count indictment charging a violation of 18 U.S.C.A. § 473, which proscribes dealing in counterfeit obligations or securities.1 Upon conviction, Hart was sentenced to ten years but was not fined.
