Claimant's property is situated on Long Island in the Town of Babylon in western Suffolk County near the Nassau County line. Before the taking, it consisted of about 236 acres and was flat and regular to grade. The property was cut into four quadrants by the intersection of State Routes 110 and 109, two heavily travelled highways on Long Island.
