The plaintiff's decedent, a tenant of the defendant, was injured by a fall while descending an interior stairway leading from an apartment occupied by her which was located on the second floor of a building owned and occupied by the defendant. The premises consisted of a first or ground floor and a second floor, both of which were used for dwelling purposes, and a third floor which was used for storage purposes.
