T. E. Swan, doing business as T. E. Swan & Company, has instituted this suit to recover for services rendered by him in repairing and renovating the home located at 2427 Alvar Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, owned by the defendants, Herman Beaubouef, et al. The suit was argued on alternative theories of quasi-contract or quantum meruit, because the repairs were done on the basis of an agreement which didn't include a determination of the exact amount...
