Defendant was found guilty in the Newark Municipal Court of being a disorderly person, in violation of N.J.S. 2A:170-28, and was given a 60-day jail sentence (suspended), fined $52, and placed on probation for six months. He appealed to the Essex County Court. The matter was heard on the record made at the municipal court hearing, and resulted in an affirmance...
