This is a post conviction hearing.

On October 7, 1959, information was filed in Douglas County, Nebraska, charging that defendant on October 3, 1959, committed the offense of murder in the second degree. On October 9, 1959, defendant entered a plea of guilty to the charge contained in the information and on October 28, 1959, was sentenced to life imprisonment.
