Plaintiffs, husband and wife, brought this action against multiple defendants to recover actual and punitive damages for fraud practiced in connection with the sale of an automobile to plaintiffs. In the course of trial to a jury, and prior to submission, dismissals were entered as to all defendants except S-H-S Motor Sales Corporation, a concern doing business in Kansas City, Missouri, under the name "Midwest Motors".
