This interpleader action has origins many conveyances and documents ago with the execution of a conventional oil and gas lease. The lease was signed jointly in 1951 by several lessors who owned interests in three tracts of land. The act of executing a joint lease arguably created a "community" wherein royalties from production referable to any one tract would be apportioned to the owners of all land covered by the lease.1...
