This appeal asks us to hold that the district court abused its discretion in denying plaintiff's application to vacate the dismissal of his case entered May 31, 1967. The dismissal was ordered after plaintiff's counsel failed to appear at pretrial conferences scheduled for May 11 and May 18, 1967. Judge Sylvester J.
