This is an appeal from a conviction by the trial court sitting without a jury on an information charging appellant with the crime of attempted procuring in violation of D.C.Code 1967, §§ 22-103 and 22-2707.1 Appellant contends that the evidence adduced at his trial even when viewed in a light most favorable to the Government shows only preparation on his part and not an attempt punishable as a crime.
