Defendant, James Myers, was tried by a jury in the magistrate division of the Circuit Court of LaSalle County and was found guilty of knowingly resisting or obstructing a peace officer, (Ill Rev Stats 1965, c 38, par 31-1), and of reckless conduct. (Ill Rev Stats 1965, c 38, par 12-5.) For each offense he was sentenced to serve a period of one year on a penal farm, the sentences to run concurrently. He has appealed, contending that he was not proved...
