Defendant, Sidney R. Wright, was convicted by a jury of the crimes of abortion and the unlawful practice of medicine. Both crimes were committed on December 9, 1966. A third count of the information charging defendant with attempted abortion upon a police agent on December 21, 1966, was dismissed for want of an overt act.
