Daniel Ambrose Walter and Jack Dempsey Maude, the appellants, were both convicted of grand larceny by the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, Judge Ralph W. Powers presiding without a jury. Walter was given a three year sentence and Maude a four year sentence.
