CHASEZ, Judge.

The plaintiff, Daniel Richmond, instituted this suit against the defendants, Louisiana Speedway 500, Inc. and Doris Cheramie, to recover damages for personal injuries he received when a racing car driven by Doris Cheramie at the Louisiana Speedway 500 careened off the track and struck the plaintiff where he was standing in the infield. Before the matter came to trial, the Insurance Company of North America, who had paid workman's compensation benefits...
