This is a workmen's compensation case. The employer rancher, exempt from the compulsory provisions of the Workmen's Compensation Act, insured voluntarily and represented coverage to the plaintiff employee at the time of employment. Subsequently, the employer inadvertently permitted the policy to lapse, and a few days after lapse reinsured. In the gap period plaintiff was injured.
