This is an action to recover damages for personal injuries suffered by plaintiff when a light fixture fell from the ceiling of a building owned by defendant Cox. Cox had engaged defendant, Northwestern Construction of Washington, as general contractor to construct the building. Northwestern in turn employed defendant Black, an independent contractor, to do the electrical work, including the installation of lighting fixtures...
