HAMMOND, C.J., delivered the opinion of the Court.

Sterling and Sorenson, each a passenger in the automobile of Blocker when it swerved and overturned as a result of his efforts to avoid a rear-end collision, sued him for the injuries they sustained. Blocker was insured by American Motorists Insurance Company (American) under a policy which afforded various forms of coverage.
