Sivolella was sentenced on November 18, 1965 in Passaic County upon his conviction of bookmaking to a term of 2 to 3 years in State Prison and ordered to pay a fine of $1,000; and to concurrent terms of 1 to 2 years on a charge of possession of lottery slips and of 1 to 2 years for working for lottery. On each of these latter he was also ordered to pay a fine of $1,000. In brief, the Passaic County sentences amounted to a minimum of two years and a maximum...
