This matter is before the court on defendant's motion for new trial. He was charged with fornication and bastardy and, upon trial by jury, was found guilty. There was sufficient credible evidence of the act of intercourse, conception and birth of a child to support the verdict. The defenses offered were a denial of intercourse, alibi and sterility.
