Mr. JUSTICE SCHAEFER delivered the opinion of the court:

In July of 1964, a jury in the circuit court of Cook County found the defendant, John Teague, guilty of rape and robbery, and he was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 30 to 60 years on the charge of rape and for a concurrent term of five to ten years on the charge of robbery. His conviction was affirmed by the appellate court. ...
