This is an appeal from a judgment entered for defendants, after trial without a jury. As appears from its opinion,1 the District Court rejected the first count in the complaint of plaintiff-appellant for infringement of a patent on a "printing ribbon" on the ground that the invention was obvious in light of the prior art, and hence the patent was invalid.
