HOLMAN, Justice.

Defendant appealed from a judgment of conviction of knowingly uttering and publishing a forged bank check. He contends the court erred in denying his motion for a judgment of acquittal. The issue in the case is whether there is evidence, other than that of an accomplice, which tended to connect defendant with the commission of the crime as required by ORS 136.550.1
