On August 29, 1968, the Grand Jury for the Western District of Arkansas returned an indictment against the defendant, Jerry Paul Bryant, charging him with a violation of 50 App. U.S.C.A. § 462 (Selective Service Act of 1967) in that he unlawfully, willfully and knowingly failed and neglected to perform a duty required of him under the Act, and that he neglected to comply with an order of the Local Board...
