Petitioner International Longshoremen's Association, AFL-CIO ("the Union") appeals from an order of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Edward C. McLean, J., denying the Union's petition to compel arbitration of a dispute between it and the New York Shipping Association, Inc. The apparent basis for the district court order was that there was no arbitrable dispute. Because we disagree with that conclusion...
