This is a diversity suit for wrongful death arising out of an automobile accident. On April 13, 1962, the plaintiff's intestate, Richard W. Redding, accompanied by one Tucker, visited defendant, Picard Motor Sales, Inc. (Picard), a dealer in MG automobiles.
