The defendant was convicted in the Municipal Court of Kansas City, Missouri, of three separate violations of city ordinances and he appealed to the Circuit Court of Jackson County. When the cases were set for trial in the circuit court, the defendant, appearing in person and by counsel, dismissed his appeal in one case and plaintiff's counsel dismissed another case.
