At trial defendant Adams' counsel objected to the admission in evidence of certain Government exhibits and moved under Rule 41(e) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure to suppress a television, television stand and cardboard box seized by police officers on the ground that there was no probable cause for the arrest.
