On December 1, 1948, the relator Monroe Williams was sentenced by the Nassau County Court as follows: for robbery, first degree, 30 to 60 years; burglary, first degree, 15 to 30 years; grand larceny, first degree, 10 to 20 years; assault, second degree, 5 to 10 years. The sentences were ordered to run concurrently.
