In 1946, one T. H. Stancliff, established a residential subdivision named Southmont Addition Annex No. 4. This subdivision lay in Harris County, Texas, southwest of the City of Houston. By annexation the area has now been included within the City of Houston. It had in it between 100 and 150 lots.
