RODGERS, Justice.

Jerry Carr was indicted, tried and convicted of the crime of rape at the January 1967 Term of the Circuit Court of Covington County, Mississippi, and he was sentenced to life imprisonment. He had been unable to obtain bond and had been in jail for 92 days before the trial. The appellant is a young married man 29 years of age. He went to the third grade in school.
