Joe Mathis seeks review of a judgment entered on a verdict of a jury which found him guilty of aggravated robbery, assault with intent to commit murder, and conspiracy to commit both of the principal crimes. The charges arise from the robbery of a Safeway store and the brief gun battle which followed when the arrival of police interrupted the robbery. Although three men were involved, apparently only Mathis has been apprehended and brought to trial...
