Citizens National Bank of Beaumont (hereinafter referred to as Bank) instituted this suit against W. J. Francis to recover on two promissory notes, one dated April 15, 1964 in the sum of $2,550.00 and the other dated June 11, 1964 in the sum of $480.00.
