This suit was brought by Elwanda Keck against C.B. McCarter, doing business as the Courtesy Cab Company, in an effort to recover damages for personal injuries she sustained when the cab in which she was riding left the roadway and struck a power pole. Plaintiff also sought to recover punitive damages, charging that the driver of the cab was intoxicated at the time of the accident...
