On January 29, 1965, appellant robbed the Iredell State Bank in Iredell, Texas, of $16,000. On April 8, 1965, he was convicted upon his plea of guilty of a violation of the Federal bank robbery statute (18 U.S.C.A. § 2113(d)) and a fifteen-year sentence was imposed.
