Plaintiffs, Derle and Lorena Long, lessees of a residence owned by defendant Charles McMichael, bring this action against their said landlord and his insurer, Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company (Hartford) to recover the value of household furnishings, clothing and personal effects lost when the dwelling was destroyed by fire. Trial of the cause by jury resulted in a verdict for plaintiffs pursuant to which judgment was entered against defendants...
