This appeal concerns the legal duty of a husband to support, after divorce, the illegitimate child of his wife born prior to their marriage.

When the parties first met, in April 1962, appellant was four months pregnant. The baby was born in September 1962, and three months later the parties were married. In 1964 a child was born to the marriage; the following week the parties separated. It is not disputed that appellee is not the father...
